Welcome to BareSecret. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of baresecret.com (the “Website”) and any purchase you make from us.

By accessing or using this Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. About BareSecret

BareSecret is an online store specialising in Korean skincare products, operated by:

Throughout these Terms, “BareSecret”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to AAMP INTERNATIONAL L.L.C-FZ operating the BareSecret brand. “You” and “your” refer to any user or customer of the Website.

2. Eligibility & Use of the Website

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to place an order on this Website.

  • By using the Website, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

  • You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws in the United Arab Emirates.

3. Account Registration

  • You may browse the Website without creating an account.

  • To access certain features (e.g., order history), you may create an account by providing accurate and complete information.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or close any account that violates these Terms or is used in an abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful manner.

4. Products & Availability

  • We specialise in Korean skincare products from various brands.

  • We strive to ensure that all product information (names, descriptions, images, prices, and availability) is correct and up to date.

  • However, occasional errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time, without prior notice.

  • All products sold are intended for personal use only and not for resale unless explicitly agreed in writing.

If a product is no longer available after you place an order, we may cancel that item and issue a refund or suggest a replacement.

5. Pricing & Currency

  • All prices on the Website are shown in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) unless stated otherwise.

  • Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice; however, the price you see at checkout at the time of your order will apply to that order.

  • Any applicable taxes, duties, or fees will be shown at checkout where required.

In case of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order placed for a product listed at an incorrect price, even if the order has been confirmed. If payment has been taken, we will issue a refund.

6. Orders & Payment

  • By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase products from us in accordance with these Terms.

  • We reserve the right to accept or reject any order at our sole discretion (for example, due to stock issues, suspicious activity, or incorrect information).

  • An order is considered accepted when you receive an order confirmation email from us.

Payment Methods

We currently accept:

  • Major credit and debit cards

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) within the UAE (where available)

  • Other payment methods as may be shown at checkout (e.g., instalment partners)

For COD orders, you agree to have the correct amount available at the time of delivery. We reserve the right to restrict or disable COD for users who repeatedly refuse or do not accept COD deliveries without valid reason.

7. Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship primarily within the United Arab Emirates.

  • Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 0–1 business day(s).

  • Estimated delivery time within the UAE is 1–3 business days after dispatch, depending on your location and courier.

  • Shipping fees are stated clearly at checkout. As of the last update:

    • Orders of AED 100 or more – Free shipping within the UAE

    • Orders below AED 100 – AED 18 flat shipping fee

These timelines are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our control (such as courier delays, public holidays, or unforeseen events). We will not be liable for delays that are outside our reasonable control, but we will assist you in tracking and resolving delivery issues.

8. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

We aim to make your experience smooth and fair.

Please read our Return & Refunds Policy   for full details. A summary is below:

  • Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

    • If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us at support@baresecret.com within 48 hours of delivery.

    • Include your order number and clear photos of the product and packaging.

    • Once we confirm the issue, we will arrange a replacement or refund, and we will cover the return shipping where applicable.

  • Change of mind / non-defective returns

    • We accept returns of unopened, unused products in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions in our policy.

    • For these returns, the customer is responsible for the return shipping cost.

    • After we receive and inspect the returned products, we will issue a refund to your original payment method if approved.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) refunds

    • Approved refunds for COD orders are processed via bank transfer to a valid UAE bank account.

For hygiene and safety reasons, certain products (especially opened or used skincare) cannot be returned unless they are defective or incorrectly supplied. We do not accept returns solely due to personal dislike of texture/colour/scent once the product has been used.

9. Allergies & Skin Reactions

Skincare products can react differently on different skin types.

  • It is your responsibility to carefully read the ingredient list before purchasing and using any product.

  • We strongly recommend performing a patch test before full application, especially if you have sensitive or allergy-prone skin.

  • If you experience any adverse reaction, discontinue use immediately and seek advice from a medical professional or dermatologist.

BareSecret does not provide medical advice and cannot be held responsible for individual allergic reactions, sensitivities, or misuse of products. Unless a product is confirmed defective under our policies, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges purely on the basis of a skin reaction.

10. Promotions, Discount Codes & Offers

From time to time, we may run promotions, discount codes, or special offers.

  • Each promotion will be subject to its own specific terms and conditions (validity period, eligible products, minimum spend, etc.).

  • Promotions cannot usually be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated.

  • We reserve the right to modify or cancel any promotion at any time without prior notice.

If a promotion or discount is misused (for example, by creating multiple accounts), we may cancel or adjust orders and/or restrict future use of promotions.

11. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, icons, layout, and software, is the property of BareSecret / AAMP INTERNATIONAL L.L.C-FZ or our content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Website or its content without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use where such copying is incidental to your use of the Website.

All brand names, product names, and logos of third-party brands are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the products.

12. User Content & Reviews

If you submit any content to the Website (such as reviews, comments, questions, photos, or suggestions):

  • You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display such content in connection with our business and marketing.

  • You confirm that the content is your own or that you have the right to use and share it.

  • You agree not to submit content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.

We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to monitor, edit, or remove any user content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • BareSecret / AAMP INTERNATIONAL L.L.C-FZ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Website or purchase of products from us.

  • Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to your use of the Website or products purchased shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the relevant order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so under applicable UAE law.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BareSecret / AAMP INTERNATIONAL L.L.C-FZ, our directors, employees, agents, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

  • Your use or misuse of the Website or products;

  • Your breach of these Terms; or

  • Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

18. Changes to the Website & Terms

We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Website (including products and prices) at any time without prior notice.

We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Website after any changes means you accept the new Terms.

19. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

Subject to any mandatory provisions of applicable law, the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and your use of the Website.
